The documentary, titled Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery, explores the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto, suggesting that Canadian software developer Peter Todd could be Bitcoin’s creator.

Schwartz responded, “Not really, I didn’t get involved until mid-2011.” This statement pushes back against claims that he was directly involved in the early stages of Bitcoin’s creation.

The HBO documentary, released earlier this week, delves into the mystery of Satoshi Nakamoto. It features interviews with early Bitcoin adopters and key figures such as Adam Back, Roger Ver, Samson Mow, and Peter Todd. Based on circumstantial evidence, the film suggests that Peter Todd may be Nakamoto. Todd, however, has denied these claims.
