Circle with the NFT-Powered Game “Overdare” Create a Web3 Wallet Partnership with USDC Disbursements

In an innovative partnership, South Korean NFT-driven metaverse game “Overdare” and stablecoin issuer Circle have teamed up. Overdare’s Creative Perspective

Overdare, created by Krafton, the company behind the hugely successful PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, is slated to launch globally in the second half of 2024 and is expected to completely transform the gaming industry. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 from Epic Games to give players AI-powered creation tools, drawing inspiration from sites like Roblox. As a result, players can create their own original experiences as game designers inside the metaverse.

Overdare’s “Create-to-Earn” strategy, which enables users to profit from their creativity, is one of its primary characteristics. Through the creation of valuable digital assets in the game, players can convert them into NFTs, so providing trade opportunities on the virtual marketplace of the platform. In order to foster a feeling of uniqueness among players, the game also provides live chat support and individually customisable avatars.

Settlus Blockchain and Overdare Studio

Settlus, Overdare’s private blockchain, was constructed with the help of the Cosmos Software Development Kit (SDK). This blockchain simplifies the licensing procedure for interactive content in addition to facilitating seamless transactions. This gives creators the ability to access new blockchain monetization possibilities.

The game intends to launch a “Overdare Studio,” a special suite furnished with instruments for creating customized and engaging gaming experiences on the platform. Early looks at the game show a large virtual world where users may create complex games and add to the ecosystem by using AI technologies.

Integration of Circle’s Programmable Wallets

The partnership with Circle extends beyond the features of the in-game wallet. By incorporating Circle’s Programmable Wallets, Overdare hopes to revolutionize revenue management and intellectual property (IP). By enabling IP trade and facilitating direct payouts in USDC, this integration will open up new revenue sources for creators.

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire made a positive statement about the partnership, saying, “We believe this partnership will be a catalyst in shaping the future of digital entertainment, ultimately fostering an innovative Web3 environment for all.”

It’s important to remember that Circle recently said that it will no longer support USDC on the TRON blockchain because of issues found in its risk management system. The ongoing issues with TRON, like as claims of money laundering within its network, are
