SuperGaming Launches Indus Battle Royale Mobile Esports Game
SuperGaming has officially launched Indus Battle Royale on mobile devices, targeting both Android and iOS users. With over 14 million pre-registrations, this Indian-made game has captured the attention of mobile gamers and esports enthusiasts alike. The launch is a major milestone for the Indian gaming industry, offering fresh gameplay with a local twist.
India-Focused Content Meets Futuristic Gameplay
The game’s Indo-futuristic theme sets it apart from traditional battle royale titles. Indus mixes Indian culture with futuristic elements, offering a unique experience for players. Available on both Android and iOS, it quickly rose to the No. 1 spot for free-to-play games on the iOS App Store.
For Android users, Indus requires 1.5 GB of space (2.5 GB recommended) and runs on devices with Android 6.0 or later. iOS users need 2.3 GB of space, with the game compatible with iPhone iOS 12.0 and iPadOS 12.0 or later.
Players can enjoy different game modes, including both first-person (FPS) and third-person (TPS) perspectives on the Virlok map. Indus also features a Team Deathmatch mode for 4v4 and 2v2 battles on a unique map called Saaplok. Customizable avatars and loadouts give players more control over their gaming experience.
Game-Changing Features: Cosmium Clutch and Grudge System
Indus Battle Royale introduces the “Cosmium Clutch” mechanic, where players can win by capturing Cosmium—an ultra-rare resource that spawns in the final circle of the battle. This adds a second way to claim victory, aside from being the last person standing.
The “Grudge System” adds another exciting layer to the game. When a player is eliminated, they can declare a grudge against their opponent. Both players are then placed in the same lobby for the next match, with the grudge opponent’s location highlighted on the map, allowing for a chance at revenge.
Esports Roadmap: Clutch India Movement and Beyond
Alongside the game’s release, SuperGaming has announced the Clutch India Movement, a year-long esports campaign. The first event is the Indus International Tournament, boasting a prize pool of INR 2.5 crore—making it the largest for any Indian-made battle royale game.
Global teams will compete over four phases, and the MVP will take home a custom Mahindra Thar. Following this tournament, the Indus International Mahasangram is scheduled for October 2025, promising even more competitive action.
